beautiful. I like the glowing shadow of the chair.

They told me Pura Vida meant pure life and we clapped our oars together and chanted Pura Vida every time we successfully negotiated a rapid, on the river.

Gorgeous painting Silvina! The variety of reds against all those grays is amazing!

Wow. This is wonderful. Very mysterious, these two. I love how the composition, and the plant on the lower right seem to be engaged in a conversation with the chair and the coconut.

Excellent work!

Sandra, thank you. Funny how solitary chairs take on different personalities.

Karen, thanks! This painting photographed a bit pinker than it really is, but yeah, lots of gray variations, especially on the gray/green side to support the starring role of the red subject.

Melinda, yes, "mysterious" is what I thought when I saw a solitary wooden chair on the sand. Seemed misplaced.
I like your interpretation of this painting!

Love this painting, Silvina--really nice! Somehow it feels filled with the joy and humor you must be experiencing there in Costa Rica.

Don, I think you're reading the spirit of the painting right. It's not a scene I'd come across in Malibu! Thanks so much for commenting!
