Melinda, thanks, glad you like these. As long as my garden keeps producing I'll try to keep expanding the series.
I'm having a little trouble with this new system of displaying links to other blogs. Some don't update at all. But I still like it better this way. Saves time, doesn't it? More time to paint!
oh I wish I could see these in person. The color is so gorgeous, plus the light is spectacular! I LOVE the reflected orange in the shadow sides of the pears. Plus that touch of brighter green! Those deep red shadows, yum!

This is my favorite so far in this series, love that pattern.
Hi Linda, welcome to my blog. I'm glad you like this series. Thanks for visiting!
Denny, this is definitely the boldest so far. Thank you.
You know, I'm not getting updates on your posts as fast as I'd like, but wow, when I do! What a spectacular painting.
The pattern in the background with your mastery rendering of the pears is stunning.
I'm loving all of these new, bold works and look forward to more!
Really yummy!
Yes... This one is really nice... My favorite so far!

Sandra, thank you, I slaved over a hot garden all summer. ; )
Marian, very nice that you are still checking in even though you're all the way in Seattle! Thanks for the comment.

Karen, thanks! Regarding the light; I painted this series under a skylight, with the exception of the banana peppers.
